Password reset

Use password reset if you forgot the password or the old password does not work.

Who this guide is for​

This guide is for buyers and sellers. Password reset starts the same way for all accounts.

  1. Open the cabinet sign-in page.
  2. Press Forgot password?.
  3. Enter the phone number or email of the account.
  4. Send the request.

The password reset page is also available as password reset.

FastyShop shows a generic response to the request. This is intentional: the message on the page cannot be used to check whether an account exists with the specified phone number or email.

If the account is found, the service will send an email with a password reset link.

How to set a new password​

  1. Open the email from FastyShop.
  2. Follow the link from the email.
  3. Enter a new password.
  4. Repeat the new password.
  5. Save the changes.

The new password must contain:

  1. at least 12 characters;
  2. Latin letters;
  3. at least one uppercase letter;
  4. at least one lowercase letter;
  5. at least one digit;
  6. at least one special character from !*@#$%^&+=_-.

What happens after the password changes​

After a successful change, the old password stops working. FastyShop will end sign-in sessions on other devices, and you will need to sign in again with the new password.

If the link has expired or has already been used, request a new email from the password reset page.

What to do if...​

The email did not arrive​

Check the Spam or Promotions folder. Make sure you entered the phone number or email for your account. If there is no email, try requesting the link again later.

Return to the password reset page and request a new email.

The new password does not meet the requirements​

Check the password length and add the missing character: an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a digit, or a special character.

You do not remember the email​

Try entering the account phone number. If you do not remember either the email or the phone number, contact support and be ready to confirm that the account belongs to you.

Too many attempts​

Wait a little and try again. Do not send many requests in a row: this may temporarily limit password reset.
