Account settings
Account settings relate to you as a FastyShop user. They do not replace the seller profile or store settings.
This is an important difference: one account can be used both for purchases and for seller work.
How to change the cabinet language
Open the account menu or settings page, then choose Русский, Қазақша, or English from the language menu. The interface language changes without taking you to a different cabinet address.
Your choice is saved in a cookie in this browser and remains active after a page reload, while you move between sections, and after you sign in or sign out. Choose the language separately in another browser or on another device.
If you open the cabinet from the FastyShop website, the cabinet accepts the site's supported language. You can always change it later in the cabinet.
What changes with the language
The language switcher changes the cabinet's system text and data formatting. It does not automatically translate seller-entered names and descriptions of stores, products, categories, payment methods, or delivery methods. That content stays in the language in which it was entered.
Some legal documents may only be available as Russian-language originals. In that case, the cabinet shows the document's actual language. Changing the interface language does not create a translation of a legal original or change the language of a document you have already accepted.
What belongs to the account
Account settings usually contain:
- account profile;
- user's personal data;
- contact details, if they are available for editing;
- user's personal legal data;
- account verification, if such a section is available.
This data helps FastyShop understand who signed in and which sections are available to this user.
What belongs to the seller
The seller profile describes you as a seller inside FastyShop.
Seller legal profiles are needed for the business, documents, and buyer trust. One seller can work with legal details that are then used in stores.
If you change data that buyers should see or data that belongs to you as a business seller, open Seller profile and legal details.
What belongs to the store
Store settings relate only to the selected store.
There you check:
- store name;
- store contacts;
- description;
- public link;
- storefront settings;
- checkout terms.
If you want to change what the buyer sees on the storefront or during checkout, open the settings of the specific store, not account settings.
How not to confuse them
Ask yourself:
- Is this about me as a FastyShop user? Then look in account settings.
- Is this about me as a seller or my documents? Then look in seller profile and legal profiles.
- Is this about a specific storefront, products, or orders? Then open the needed store.
