Opens from the homepage

Opens from the homepage shows how often buyers opened your store's products from the shared FastyShop feed.

Open the report

  1. In the seller cabinet, select the store you need.
  2. Open Shop analytics.
  3. Choose the page's shared period: Today, 7 days, or 30 days.
  4. Find the Opens from the homepage section.

The report includes:

  • Selected period — recorded opens for the selected calendar days;
  • All time — opens in the selected store's available saved history;
  • Daily product opens — changes within the period;
  • Opens by product — the breakdown by product. Select Show more if more entries are available.

The report shows its time zone. If data does not cover the entire selected period, it also shows when the available history begins. That history may begin after the store was created.

What counts as an open

An open is counted after a product page opens from the homepage. Displaying a card in the feed or opening a storefront using the store name does not count as this kind of open.

Product opens are counted when the buyer allows analytics.

This metric is separate from ordinary product views from different sources, clicks on the links page, and Google Analytics data. It does not show unique people or the number of orders: one buyer may open products several times.

When the data updates

Data updates approximately once an hour. Refresh reloads the saved report; it does not start collection or make an update happen instantly. Check the update timestamp and messages alongside the report.

Understand zeros and messages

  • 0 means there are no recorded opens in the available history for the selected period. It does not mean there were no visitors.
  • Data collection has not started yet means there is no collection history, rather than a zero result.
  • No data means the value is unknown. It should not be treated as zero.
  • Partial day and the message about the start of available history mean the data does not cover the entire day or period.
  • If data is waiting for an update, has not updated recently, or may be incomplete, take that into account when comparing periods. A message about paused collection means saved history is being shown.
  • If the report fails to load, retry using the available action. A refresh error may leave the previous report on screen; its values do not become zeros.

Saved opens may remain in history after a product is unpublished. A Product unavailable entry does not explain why it is unavailable and may have no link to a public product page.

Prepare a product for the shared feed

Prepare a published product with at least one photo available to buyers. Check that buyers can open the store and product page. No separate application to join the feed is needed. Made-to-order and out-of-stock products can also appear in the feed.

If you cannot find a product, check the query, store category, and homepage filters, then open the public product page using a direct link. Publishing does not guarantee immediate display, a particular position in the feed, or sales.

For the buyer's steps, see Products on the FastyShop homepage. For ordinary views and other store signals, see After the first orders.
