Store trust

Trust comes from clarity. A buyer feels calmer placing an order when they understand who sells the product, how to contact the store, how payment works, and how to receive the order.

FastyShop helps show important details, but it does not replace honest descriptions, current contacts, or the seller's responsibility for the terms they specify.

Current store details

Check the details that the buyer sees on the storefront:

  1. the store name is written without mistakes;
  2. the description briefly explains what you sell;
  3. the logo or image does not look random;
  4. contacts are current;
  5. the public link opens the correct store;
  6. the storefront has no unfinished texts.

If you changed the store format, assortment, or contacts, update the details before sending the link to buyers.

The basic setup is described in Shop and storefront.

Contacts

Contacts are not decoration. The buyer may need to clarify details, delivery, payment, or order status.

Check that:

  1. you are ready to answer in the specified channel;
  2. phone, email, or social link is written correctly;
  3. the channel fits buyer questions;
  4. product cards and terms do not contradict what you answer in chat.

Do not publish a contact channel that you do not check. Fewer channels are better if they actually work.

Legal details help the buyer understand who stands behind the store.

If the public Seller documents verified mark is available for the store, use it carefully. It means seller documents were checked within the current FastyShop process, but it is not a guarantee of product quality, delivery, or transaction result.

More details:

Do not promise the buyer more than the mark itself means.

Payment and delivery terms

The buyer needs to understand in advance how they will pay for the order and how they will receive the product.

Check that:

  1. there is at least one clear way to receive the order;
  2. there is at least one available payment method;
  3. instructions do not require guessing;
  4. delivery price is specified if it is needed;
  5. manual payment methods are described as manual, not as built-in FastyShop online payment;
  6. product card terms do not contradict checkout terms.

Terms setup is described in Payments and delivery.

Neat storefront

Even good products can look weaker if the storefront feels unfinished.

Check that:

  1. only ready products are published;
  2. category names are clear;
  3. there are no empty or random descriptions;
  4. product photos look as consistent as possible;
  5. main products are easy to find from a phone;
  6. the public link leads to the current storefront.

After changes, you can check the storefront with How to check the storefront after changes.

Honest limitations

A buyer can accept a limitation if it is clear in advance. It is much worse when the limitation appears after the order.

Write directly:

  1. if the product is made to order;
  2. if color or size may differ;
  3. if delivery is available only in a certain city;
  4. if payment is manual;
  5. if stock is limited;
  6. if the product cannot be replaced quickly.

This does not reduce trust. On the contrary, the buyer sees that the store describes the process honestly.

What FastyShop does not guarantee instead of the seller

FastyShop does not guarantee:

  1. sales;
  2. quality of every product;
  3. delivery of the product by the seller;
  4. product availability;
  5. fulfillment of all seller promises;
  6. advertising result;
  7. legal advice for store operations.

That is why public details, product cards, and terms need to be clear on their own.
