Seller profile

A seller profile is the part of the cabinet that connects your account with selling in FastyShop.

A regular account is used to log in to the service. A seller profile is used to work as a seller: manage shops, legal details, products, and orders.

How the seller profile differs from other details

FastyShop has several related concepts:

  1. Account - the details used to log in to FastyShop. One account can be used both for purchases and for seller work.
  2. Seller profile - the seller part of your cabinet. It shows that the account can manage shops.
  3. Legal profile - details of the person or company on whose behalf the shop works.
  4. Shop - the storefront for buyers: name, catalog, products, orders, and display settings.

One seller profile can be connected with several shops. There can also be several legal profiles if you work through different legal entities or business forms.

Where to find the seller profile

In the cabinet, open the Seller profile section.

On this page, sellers usually check:

  1. the displayed seller or company name;
  2. contact details, if they are shown in the profile;
  3. the connection with legal profiles;
  4. the seller's overall readiness to work in the cabinet.

The exact set of fields may depend on the current cabinet version. If the interface shows hints near the fields, follow those hints.

Why details should stay up to date

A buyer makes a decision not only by looking at the product. They also need to understand who they are buying from and how to contact the shop.

Up-to-date details help:

  1. avoid confusing shops with each other;
  2. show buyer-facing information correctly;
  3. pass document verification faster;
  4. avoid corrections after submitting an application;
  5. avoid losing trust when details change.

If you notice a mistake in the seller profile, correct it before submitting documents for verification, if that action is available.

Connection with registration and the first shop

If you have not created a seller account yet, start with Seller registration.

If the first shop has already been created, it is useful to continue with First shop launch. It is better to check the seller profile and legal details before actively sending the shop link to buyers.

What to do if...

You cannot open the seller profile

Check that you are logged in to the right account. If you are logged in only as a buyer, the cabinet may not have a seller section.

If you have already registered as a seller, refresh the page and log in again. If the profile still does not open, contact support and say that you cannot open the Seller profile section.

You see the wrong profile

Check the phone number or email of the account you used to log in. If you have several accounts, log out and log in to the right one.

Do not change details at random if you are not sure that you opened the correct profile.

There is a mistake in the profile

Correct the details in the cabinet if the field is available for editing. If the field is unavailable or already connected with document verification, contact support and describe what needs to be changed.

You do not understand how the profile differs from the shop

The seller profile describes you as a seller. The shop describes the storefront for buyers. If you need to change the name, description, products, or orders, look in the shop section, not only in the seller profile.
